To help researchers, the staff answer questions through e-mail and standard mail delivery. Responses are sent by e-mail or letter and charges apply. Research requests include:

When You Visit
Before visiting, it may be helpful to familiarize yourself with the Library's procedures and layout.
- Registration Desk
All researchers are asked to register on their first visit. For security purposes, personal belongings are checked in individual lockers. Researchers may bring only pencils, paper and laptop computers into the reference rooms. Ink is not allowed. - Ronald M. Hubbs Room
All microform materials, including newspapers, censuses, naturalization records, and Sanborn insurance maps are stored and used in the Hubbs Room, along with self-service microform readers and reader-printers. - Weyerhaeuser Reference Room
The Weyerhaeuser Room is the access point for all non-microform items in the Society's collections. Also available here are the main Library information desk, and Copy Services.
