NHPRC Grant

Finding Aid Statistics

The Minnesota Historical Society is the recipient of a Basic Project grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) which will significantly support the cataloging of the Society's unprocessed archival collections. The project targets 4,600 cubic feet of government records and manuscript collections. During the first six weeks of the project, we've processed 36 accessions totaling 195 cubic feet.

We are working on new collections including the personal papers of Janet Deming and business records of the Automatic Alarm Corporation. Additions are being made to the following existing collections: the Municipal Board, Association of Women in Communications, Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board, and Film in the Cities.
