NHPRC Grant
The Minnesota Historical Society is the recipient of a Basic Project grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) which will significantly support the cataloging of the Society's unprocessed archival collections. The project targets 4,600 cubic feet of government records and manuscript collections.
To start the new year, the NHPRC team will process new collections such as the records of the Native American Theological Association and the GOP Feminist Caucus, and make additions to existing collections such as the Carol Connolly papers and the State Auditor records.
Substantial progress has been made in the first ten weeks of the project. We've processed 90 accessions totaling nearly 480 cubic feet. We've also added or updated 101 finding aids to enhance access to our collections.
