NHPRC Grant
An 18-month Basic Project grant awarded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) is significantly supporting the cataloging of our unprocessed acquisitions of government records and manuscripts collections.
This month we report on our progress.
From October to March, we have completed 46% of the total number of unprocessed acquisitions and 26% of the total collections backlog by cubic footage. Our progress during the first six months has resulted in the addition or revision of 269 catalog records and 306 finding aids, more than twice as many as we estimated.
Adding the most recent acquisition to Leo Treadway's papers about the Minnesota GLBT movement (at left) required a little extra sorting beyond our normal approach.
