Private 2 (PV2) Katie Kleeberger, Specialist (SPC) Travis, Private First Class Harris, Iraq, 2004


New to the Minnesota Historical Society's collections this month are the photographs of Rochester native Katie Kleeberger documenting her military service during the Iraq War. Primarily responsible for driving military vehicles, Kleeberger served two tours in Iraq between January 2004 and September 2006 as a Private E-2 and later as a Specialist E-4. The photographs in this collection include images of Kleeberger and fellow military personnel, bases, and vehicles, and landscape views in both Iraq and Kuwait. Many of the photographs were taken in the state fairgrounds, including views of the grandstand and other pavilions.

Records of each inmate's physical and mental condition upon entering the reformatory and subsequent medical history. Information includes name and case file number, results of initial physical examination and mental evaluation, family mental history, hospital record (date, diagnosis, treatment, date discharged), pharmacy prescription record (date, diagnosis, drug or other prescription), and brief periodic assessments of physical and mental status. The records cover admission through 1923, although individual record entries may continue into the 1930s.
