Examples include Alexander Ramsey, James Ford Bell, Frank Billings Kellogg, James J. Hill, Henry Benjamin Whipple, Pearl Buck, William Tecumseh Sherman, and Oswald Wykeham Cornwallis. The digital documents also consist of letters from numerous U.S. Presidents, which range from the presidencies of John Quincy Adams to Richard Nixon.
