Records encompassing the organization's activities on the infant formula issue and the Nestle boycott. These records document infant formula promotion and "bottle baby disease" through photographs, examples of packaging, advertisements, point of sale promotions, hospital visits and staff interviews, and parent interviews.
Administration Department: An Inventory of Its Strike Planning Files gr01408
Files created and used by staff at the Administration Department in preparation for labor strikes by state employees, and for a government shutdown in 2001. Strikes represented are the AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) strike of 1981 and the MAPE (Minnesota Association of Professional Employees) strike of 1999. Strike files include such items as meeting minutes of statewide strike committees, correspondence, planning files, background information, and other related records.

Correspondence and subject files of a Democratic-Farmer-Labor legislator who represented Minnesota House of Representatives District 1B from 1975 to 1981. The subject files concentrate on issues relating to Marshall, Pennington, Polk and Red Lake counties, especially agriculture, education, and health.

Corporate records of the Crosby Company (formerly S.T. McKnight Company), which were holding companies for the assets of Sumner T. McKnight and Franklin M. Crosby family members and descendants. They include a company history, bylaws, minutes, a few Crosby Company annual reports, income tax returns, audit and other financial reports, stock and investment data, property management files, files on holdings of the Weyerhaeuser Timber Company, and records documenting the merger of the Crosby Company (Minnesota) with the Crosby Company (Delaware) and the sale of some of its assets to Crosby & Case.
Faribault County, Minnesota : An Inventory of Telephone Directories lb00072
A collection of telephone directories for cities in Faribault County, Minnesota. Telephone directories are published by telephone companies and include alphabetical listings of residential and business phone numbers and street addresses in the white pages, and a listing of businesses arranged by subject in the yellow pages. Each entry on the inventory lists the city name, year of coverage, and the shelf number of the printed volume or microfiche set which includes that city.
Richard W. Fitzsimons: An Inventory of His Papers 01255
Correspondence and subject files of, and an oral history interview with, Richard Fitzsimons, longtime Conservative/Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives (1953-1972) and Minnesota Senate (1973-1976) representing Beltrami, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake and Roseau counties. His principal interests were agriculture, outdoor recreation (including hunting and snowmobiling), rural education, and appropriations. Included in the collection is an educational packet issued by the Minnesota Historical Society in 1975 featuring Senator Fitzsimons.

Nagashi Yamamoto, Camp Zama, JapanDigitized photographs belonging to Staff Sergeant Nagashi Edward Yamamoto, United States Army Military Intelligence Service. Images were from an album featuring views from Yamamoto's time in the Military Intelligence Service Language School at Fort Snelling as well as views of his military service in Japan after World War II was declared over. Other men pictured include S. Watanabe and Donald K. Iwai who were in the same class at Fort Snelling. Additionally images of Saburo Takeshita and George T. Matsuoka, relatives of Yamamoto, are included as they also attended the Military Intelligence Service Language School and graduated in an earlier class.

Culturally sensitive athletic apparel co-design project photograph collection, 2013-2015.
Images document a collaborative project between the University of Minnesota's Tucker Center for Research on Girls and Women in Sports, the School of Kinesiology, the College of Design; the Girls Initiative in Recreation and Leisurely Sports (GIRLS) program; and middle-school aged girls from the Cedar-Riverside community. Funded by a two-year grant from the Minnesota Agricultural Experiment Station (MAES) State Reserve Funds the project goal was the co-design of culturally sensitive and functional clothing that would allow Muslim females to be both physically active and modest in their dress. Products included Hijabs, pants, and knee-length dresses made of moisture wicking fabrics which had colorful designs and were religiously appropriate.

Images document the International Motorcycle Scooter & Go-Kart Exposition of 1960 held at the Prom Ballroom in St. Paul which was held to promote cycling and scooters to a broader audience. The event was coordinated by eight local dealerships, Belmont's Motorcycle Sales, Paul's Cycle Service, Egeberg Cycle Shop, Cushman Motors, Reliable Cycle Co., Karl's Cycle Shop, Lee's Motorcycle Shop, and Haugh Motorcycle Sales. Supplemental materials include a folder with a final report of the event, correspondence, and news clippings.
